Yes, corruption like "Trump once sold a condo to a Russian business man!" or "Trump once discussed plans to build a new hotel in Russia!" or "Trump once put Russian dressing on his salad!"

    So scandalous.

That chart is hilarious. It reminds me of the game "Six-Degrees of Kevin Bacon" where you try to connect a random individual to Kevin Bacon in six-degrees or less. So, for instance, I once worked with a guy who interned on The Late Show With David Letterman. David Letterman has interviewed Kevin Bacon on numerous occasions. So I am only two-degrees away from Kevin Bacon.

That's basically what The Washington Post is doing with Russia. They're looking for any link they can, no matter how innocent, legal, or regular it is, in order to make their "cute little chart" appear as nefariously complex as possible. But it looks like they've caught at least one gullible fish in their net.

It's yellow journalism. Going through the actual "ties" they are nothing more than a list of business deals going back to the 1980s that any business would have with another country, like

1987 | Trump visits Moscow and tours various sites in an effort to strike real estate deals in Soviet-era Russia. He stays in a hotel overlooking the Kremlin, and tells Playboy that Russian jets escorted his own on the way to the airport. Read more

1996 | Trump says he will hold a press conference with a Miami-based tobacco company in Moscow announcing plans to build an office and apartment complex similar to Trump Tower in New York. Read more

2005 | Trump gave the development company Bayrock a one-year deal to find a site for a Trump Tower. Felix Sater later testified that he identified a former pencil factory as a site for the project, before the deal fell apart. Read more
There is no smoking gun. Trump did business all over the world. There is nothing tying him to fixing the election with the Russian.

Nothing tying him to it? What would you call those Trump associates who are being investigated by the FBI. Ties maybe?

It seems that you've already exonerated Trump from wrongdoing even though the investigation is still ongoing. Apparently he will be "innocent" in your eyes regardless of the outcome. Nothing like keeping an open mind, is there.

In the USA it is "Innocent until PROVEN guilty" Tassman. Seems to be the other way around for you.

And you're ready to condemn him without evidence.

Being legally innocent until proven guilty, doesn't mean one is actually innocent. In the end, Trump is either innocent, but an incompetent boob, or he is guilty.

Limiting the possible options to only two is either right or wrong.
Actually YOU put Trump in the White House. He wouldn't have gotten 1% of the vote if it wasn't for the widespread spiritual and cultural devastation caused by progressive policies. There's no "this country" left with your immigration policies, your "allies" are worthless and even more suicidal than you are and democracy is a sick joke that I hope nobody ever thinks about repeating when the current order collapses. - Darth_Executor striking a conciliatory note in Civics 101

Can't sneak anything past that steel trap of a brain there, can I Jim?

duh. We are discussing how I and you and tassy THINK of Trump's innocence or guilt. I am assuming he is innocent until there is actual evidence that he is guilty. Then at that point I will think he is guilty. You and Tassy think he is guilty without a shred of evidence and probably will think so even if no evidence is ever found.

The investigation is still ongoing. A prudent person would suspend judgement until an outcome has been reached.
