I don't mean with training like a dog but to make the decision on our own.

Dogs were used merely as an example.

Because people are probably most familiar with them as an example of an animal being taught to behave in a manner that goes against its instincts.

You really have been quite thick as of late.

Yet again another assumption on your part.

I made an observation about animals often resisting their instincts, at least in human domestic situations, and you immediately assumed I was referring to the training of animals [citing dogs as a example] when in point of fact I had made no such reference.

I never said I watched the video. You said that children can be trained with punishment, and I agreed with you, so what's the problem?

"In human domestic situations" implies training you twit.

The point that continues to soar miles over your head is that

Perhaps the most significant difference between humans and the rest of animal kind is our ability to resist our instincts or basic nature. I don't mean with training like a dog but to make the decision on our own.

It is obviously far too complex a simple statement for you too grasp given that you still can't comprehend it in spite of multiple clarifications

I never wrote that "children can be trained with punishment". Clearly you did not even bother to read what I actually wrote.

In the video there is teaching taking place.
