Cawic has access to both the South Sea and the Sea of Cyra. The hexagons are ~125 miles on a side through the equator.

If the two kingdoms will be at war or already at war, if we reside in one of their city we might have a problem going to or helping the helpless citizen of the other kingdoms.

The GP limit is the maximum price of item that can be bought in the city, right? If so, Cawic would seem to be the obvious choice to build up our strength and resources before moving on to more dangerous areas. With distances that large, I think We'll be relying on Chrs' character taking us places with teleport and greater teleport a lot anyway, but then again that would only be able to take our high-level characters plus two more.

Yes, the GP limit is the maximum price for buying/selling. In time, I'd expect you to have minions to do a lot of the more mundane crafting.


The distances are kinda large, I agree, but it's based on an Earth-normal planet. I think there are a few ways to get around it. I could (and may) drop the distances somewhat within reason. Your idea of setting up base and relocating later is a good one, too. I think you could get away with creating some very unique items and have them shipped (maybe send a lowbie party to escort it). If placed in a very particular setting, the uniqueness of the item should allow you to use a Teleport Circle back and forth between cities. Spart's Horizon Walker has Dimension Door which can also be used (with some chance of damage unless the route is well-known) to traverse places quickly.

I can move myself and 6 other medium creatures up to 1200 feet every 1d4 rounds. I've got a pretty good Spot check to see landing zones, so if visibility is good, travel will be quick. That said, I should probably invest in a spyglass.

Allowing for slight zigzags, that averages out to 5 hexes in 12 hours with our HL party with room for two more, or a third of that speed if we take all of our LL characters as well, that's pretty good for free. Eyes of the eagle could help your spot checks, if you don't already have them. I never noticed the spyglass before. Game mechanic-wise, it doubles the range increment on spot checks? Nice. I assume you have the distance enhancement on your bow, given how far you can leap around to snipe

I have Eyes of the Eagle as well as a maximized spot check: I can reliably perceive things over 300 feet away, and between the Distance enhancement on the bow and the far shot feat, I can shoot up to 330 feet without a distance penalty as well.

Pinoy, CV says he'll buy the resist energy wand, you don't need to get that any more. You want to split the cost of the barkskin wand instead? 9,000 gp would be an even split, 8,000 would be enough for me to get a few things for myself (and leave you a little better off than you are now).

Composite Longbows have 110 ft range. Double it for Distance, then add another 50% for the feat.
