Seriously, I've always had a nack for laying down a tree just where I want to plop it.
If it works for you that is good. And as I said a small tree like that is easy to drop pretty much where ever you want it to go.Micah 6:8 He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?

There was a dead limb from another tree sticking out, and I calculated that the falling tree might possibly hit and knock that limb down, and it did, just as I had hoped.
The electric chain saw allows me to get really close to the ground, so I don't even have a protruding stump there anymore. The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

And cutting down a living tree only kills the trunk - the tree itself is still living. Haven't you ever heard of coppice or pollard, Mr Great Outdoorsman?"He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose." - Jim Elliot
