Oh yeah. The internet wouldnt shut up about that gorilla hamurambe. Pokemon sun and moon came out. I learned how to make patty melts. Tweb thought I was allright. Politics were a mess.

ahh yes, 2016, I remember it will, That was the year President [Trump/Clinton] (delete whichever didn't win) won the infamous 2016 election that led to the break of up the former USA has half the states seceded.
That lead to China becoming the world's new superpower, at least until India and Russia decided to fight for the title which halved the population of all three countries.

The aftermath of that along with the resurgence of the Commonwealth with the agreements in place between the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand lead to the King William the Great founding the Second British Empire and his initiatives lead to the first permanent colonies on the Moon that help determining the viability for colonising Mars.
