R.I.P.D. -- This got no critical love at all. Maybe I just have bad taste, but I liked it. Jeff Bridges is reason enough to watch it.

Trollhunter. It's a "found footage" movie about a group of students in Norway who are making a film when they come across a man who hunts trolls. Not really scary and plenty of obvious CGI, but it is very entertaining to watch.

While subtitled it is still IMHO one of the more entertaining "found footage" movies out there.

I'd forgotten about this one. It's a good 'un.

I just watched The Signal. Really strange, and though it uses a bit too much slow-motion, a pretty cool movie. Don't read any spoilers before watching this one. The more ignorant you are the better.

                Sounds interesting!

I recently watched Freaks by Tod Browning (the guy who did the original Dracula). Been meaning to watch it for years, but finally got around to it. Its an early black and white film about a traveling circus, a money grubbing trapeze artist, and the wealthy midget she tries to pull a con on. Its notorious for showing actual, popular at the time, sideshow freaks. I was sort of motivated to go looking for it again recently after watching a documentary on the conjoined/Siamese twins Daisy and Violet Hilton who starred in it.

I did too. I'm a big fan of pretty much anything David Fincher (even liked Alien 3!)

                        To the Devl, A Daughter

Really weird but a heck of a cast.

TCM aired it this morning and I caught the tail end. Weird as heck with an odd ending - you might like it.

Does have some very brief nudity.

That was one weird movie. I think whoever made it was on drugs. I read the book and it was a little better and more understandable.
