I was told about this at the Barber Shop when I got my haircut this morning. It's an ALL BLACK barber shop that I stumbled into about 8 years ago, not knowing it was "all black", but I thought, "what the heck, let's give it a try". Since then, I've been going to that same Barber Shop, and am almost always the only white guy in the room. Pretty decent sized shop - 8 chairs, usually about 6 of them manned at any point.

It's part of my eclectic "education" on black culture, just relaxing and listening to the comments from both the barbers and the customers.

Hope the best for the folks that break away from the pack and figure out their own opinions. Hope we can address real concerns while removing destructive actions. Gambit's mention of co-workers with BLM shirts does may either show people with grievances or people that have sympathy for others who have grievances -- if that makes sense. We have had movements where people were doing okay but were concerned that their neighbors might be suffering. Sorry I can't remember one of the specific movements like that.

I recall one. The Anti-War movement during The Vietnam War. That was mainly propelled by deferred college students on behalf of American kids who were fighting and dying in a far-off land for uncertain objectives.
