I haven't heard much from Biden recently. He is apparently following the adage "never interfere with your enemy when he is making a mistake", although perhaps the version "never interfere with your enemy when he is destroying himself" is more accurate.

Or even - give him enough rope and he'll hang himself!

Biden has been in hiding for the past few months with carefully controlled and scripted televised appearances designed to conceal just how mentally far gone he is, and even then it's not successful because Biden can't even manage a short prepared speech without royally screwing something up. His mental decline is one of the worst kept secrets in Washington. He's going to have to come out of hiding and debate Trump at some point, and it won't be pretty.

Up 12 points in the polls. Doing pretty well for someone supposedly in mental decline. Doesn't say much for Trump either, although Trump never had much going on upstairs to begin with.

And, interestingly, that poll was done by Fox News.

Incidentally, Trump is currently suing CNN because they released a poll that had Biden with a +14 lead. I assume, then, that Trump will also be suing Fox for releasing a poll that has Biden with a +12 lead?

                Winning?
Being wrong isn't illegal, and the injunction was rejected.

Yes. Total win for Bolton. Loss for Trump.

This is only vaguely-related to the thread, but did you see Trump whining about Fox news?

He considered it to be Trump news, which in most cases it is. That's probably why he just took control of the Voice of America, put a conservative filmaker in charge and fired eveyone in top positions. It's also why he loves OAN, the Russian run news organization.

Yep. Trump only likes them when they lie for him.

Trump served CNN with a "cease and desist" letter demanding that CNN retract the poll and publish a "full, fair, and conspicuous retraction, apology, and clarification to correct its misleading conclusions."

FWIW Seth Abramson's review of the book makes it sound like a chore to read.

                              I suppose I shouldn't be surprised.

The first few entries in that review make me think he's not the least bit objective about it...

DISCLOSURE1/ The last year has proven Bolton a coward, a fraud, disloyal to America, and unworthy of respect. He had a chance to aid his country, and sought a cash-grab instead. Now he may face criminal charges. I write this review as objectively as I can under the circumstances.
DISCLOSURE2/ Yes, I've also written a book on many of the topics Bolton has written about here. It's called Proof of Corruption and comes out in September. Is it a much better book than this? Yes, for many reasons. But again, I seek to be as objective about this book as I can be.
