Other facts that did not get much air time were what time of day it was, if the sun was shining, what temperature it was, the exact make of the shoes he was wearing, the make and model of the shotgun, the horsepower of the truck the McMichaels were driving.

I thought you were saying you took interest in ALL facts and tried to avoid bias. Then why are you talking about "one side" as if it is a fight. I think the biggest problem right now for the prosecution is trying to support a murder indictment. There are enough details about this case that make that an uncertain charge at best. Although there's also the possibility that the jury will want to "make an example" even if the case might be weak.
