The OP asked what the Dems have to offer, and what they are offering to fight for was listed. If you have a problem with some or all of them, then you do the explaining as to why you have a problem with them. Then you can probably have the discussion you seem to want to have.

Not entirely. The question was, what do Democrats (and we can include liberals in general) have besides doom and gloom? And all of Chuck's protestations and deflections seem to suggest that the answer is "Nothing".

Well, yeah, I'm disgusted with a whole lot of what Trump says, but it is not "all-consuming", which is what my brudder actually said.

Well, it is pretty much all consuming for me, rational, and all consuming. I happen to care very much about democracy and holding on to it.
