    Try these scenarios:

    • They really do have better intelligence and know he is fine / recovering
    • They know something is wrong but figure it's better for North Korea to announce it than them. Behind the scenes, they are preparing for when the news comes out.
    • They're as clueless as everyone else but don't want to admit it.

I can assure you it wasn't me. I accepted Mueller's findings: that there was inadequate evidence to conclude that Trump's campaign actively solicited assistance from the Russians (beyond his public, "please find those emails") but that he benefited from the Russian intrusion into our election.

You forgot the obvious fourth option: that James Bond is already in-country and is piggy-backing "Little Rocket Man" on skis through the North Korean Alps. And don't tell me they don't have Alps. I know they've been hiding them now for 50 years!

What's not to get? Admitting their leader died or is incapacitated, ESPECIALLY if it's the result of his undisciplined eating habits and lifestyle choices, is basically an admission of their weakness, particularly if you're an inferior country that frequently tries to convey to the world you're not inferior.

            4. They're coordinating with the Democrat party to figure out some way to blame it on Trump.

I almost made the same mistake. I even had lengthy reply typed out before I realized it.

The only thing to blame Trump is his shame negotiations with Kim Jong un and got played like flute.

I find it amusing that North Korea has resorted to releasing letters dated today by Kim as "proof of life". That seems like a tacit admission that they're unable to actually produce a video.
