From what I read, for weeks China knew that its citizens from the Wuhan area were infected. They covered it up and even jailed doctors who were blowing the whistle. Then they let citizens from this region fly all over the world. And they get upset when we call it the China Virus?

I've not heard the allegations of it being a "bioweapon," as if something intentionally engineered for nefarious purposes. I've heard speculation that it probably escaped from the nearby virus research lab because of poor practices, but the possibility that they were studying it does not imply they were intending to weaponize it.
