Vs: requiring the meat processing plant owners to invest in PPE and adjustments to the production layout to make the work place safer. That would not be anywhere near 'trillions', I seriously doubt it would even come close to a billion. And there is no reason a substantial portion of it could not be covered by the business itself. There is nothing good in how Trump has done this, it is 100% a nod to the abuse of the worker by the business owners.

Edit: Ok, I think I misunderstood you. You don't have PPE because you don't come in close contact with people.

But you are wrong about the effectiveness of the masks / gloves. How do I know? My wife (so great to still have one) comes form Hong Kong where they have dealt with these kinds of viruses many times before and which, despite it's insane population density, proximity to China, and significant travel between the two, is faring so much better than us in terms of Coronavirus.

The one thing that is clear from her responses is that lil-pix has no problem subjecting those workers and her own to the danger that COVID-19 presents. Possibly because she has believes the Trump supporting misinformation that the danger COVID-19 itself presents is minimal.

And this is just typical 2A apologist logic. "Doing X won't fix problems 100% of the time so X is pointless." If giving proper training nontrivially *reduces* the spread of Coronavirus, and you will have the burden of proof to claim that it doesn't, then proper equipment and training is warranted even if it is not a panacea.
