That's patently false. Had they admitted that Trump had committed CRIMES, they would be hard pressed to declare the "bad deeds" were not impeachable.
Then incredibly vengeful and vindictive Dems brought an incredibly partisan incomplete sham impeachment case to the Senate, and the Senate declined to do the Democrats' homework for them.
