The real danger with this president, which seems to be widely ignored, is the claim he regularly makes that he can do anything he wants as president because of Article II (Article II says nothing of the kind). See time stamp 1:38 on this video, and there are many, many others where he makes this claim.
THIS is what makes Trump a want-to-be autocrat. I'm trying to imagine the reaction of the right if ANY other president made this claim, and I cannot imagine them letting a Clinton or Obama or Carter make this claim without uproar and outrage. But for this president, deafening silence.
And we are dealing with a first-term president with his eyes on a second term. How much more is he likely to attempt to ACT on this if he is put back in office and does not have the prospect of another term limiting him? Will our systems contain him? With the Republican party and leadership falling in line behind him and endorsing/defending virtually everything he says and does, I have to wonder...The ultimate weakness of violence is that it is a descending spiral begetting the very thing it seeks to destroy...returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that. Martin Luther King
I would unite with anybody to do right and with nobody to do wrong. Frederick Douglas

He speaks like a New York street hustler, everyone thinks he is a liar, and nobody with control over the levers of power follows him, they all hate him. He would have to take over both Congress and the Justice branch and eliminate them, in order to become a dictator. He would be dragged out of the white house in cuffs if he tried something like that by the FBI, who also hates him.
The idea that he could become a dictator is laughable.

1. He really pisses off the liberals
2. He does what he says he will do
3. He isn't Hillary
4. He put two conservatives in the SCOTUS
Charismatic usually refers to someone with a charming presence, a smooth talker. That ain't Trump. I don't know of anyone who really likes his personality or the way he acts.
