On the matter of obstruction, Barr, Rosenstein, and other top DOJ officials simply affirmed Mueller's conclusion that there wasn't sufficient evidence to indict:

"After reviewing the Special Counsel's final report on these issues; consulting with Department officials, including the Office of Legal Counsel; and applying the principles of federal prosecution that guide our charging decisions, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and I have concluded that the evidence developed during the Special Counsel's investigation is not sufficient to establish that the President committed an obstruction-of-justice offense. Our determination was made without regard to, and is not based on, the constitutional considerations that surround the indictment and criminal prosecution of a sitting president."

Now tell me, if Barr's summary misrepresented Mueller's conclusions, do you really think he (Mueller) would be keeping his mouth? At the very least, I expect that he or other members of his team would have leaked portions of the report that contradict Barr.

Face it, kiddo, but not only has the fat lady sung, but the theater is closed. It's time to lay those dreams of impeachment to rest.

I have to note that Judge My Cousin Vinny Napolitano has opined that Barr's terminology that conspiracy could not be "established" suggests that the full report probably does contain some evidence of conspiracy, but not enough to indict. So he expects the loons in the House to try to make hay of that.

I have not seen other legal scholars make so much -- anything, really -- of that word "establish."

Exoneration is only for those who have been formally accused. Those who are never accused don't need exoneration because they are presumed innocent.
