IIRC you have previously acknowledged that while most of the protesters in Paris are leftist, many if not most of them in other parts of France are conservative. And liberals protesting and rioting against other leftists is hardly anything unusual. We saw it during the Vietnam war protests here in America and even protests aimed at acclaimed Socialist Bernie Sanders by BLM as he ran for president in 2016.

I'm always still in trouble again

That is what I meant: Someone else put them on the compass based on their views of the politicians policies and stances. Which means the person who did it's bias is influencing the chart.

I was going to put into the original post some better details ...

I don't know how to characterize Macron on a left-right wing scale; these depend on groupings foreign to my concepts.

Macron is basically a globalist who agrees with the EU concepts which requires:
        1. Making France a financial center and removing most manufacturing
        2. Increased taxes without representation -- when the urban and rural areas already aren't able to make ends meet
        3. Promoting acceptance of migrants at the expense of the stability of the country.

The French people from various political perspectives are protesting the excessive taxation ... and the globalist agenda. There even are people promoting the idea of Frexit.

Such movements are expanding. But we have to hope that people seek a worthwhile form of government -- not a communist/socialist takeover.
