She might actually be fun to watch!
I'm pretty certain that she's safely ensconced in that places like New York are often more interested in politicians who are celebrities, put on a good show and/or entertain them than one who represents their needs

In her first campaign, she was considered a long-shot against a candidate who enjoyed the full backing of the Democrat party, and she still won. What makes them think they could beat her the next time around, especially if she manages to maintain her star power through the next election? Some may call me foolish, and some may call me odd

I hope she goes for Senate and takes Chuck Schumers seat. Then Dems would be forced to appoint a less useless senate leader because Chuck the Useless would be gone."I hate him passionately", he's "a demonic force" - Tucker Carlson, in private, on Donald Trump

However corrupt and addled Pelosi might be, she holds a lot of power and can end a young political career with a snap of her fingers.

Alternatively they could be saying, "she's popular and the media likes her, so give her some publicity positions so we can get a media-friendly face on the Dem party". But the one thing they haven't done is cut her off from important committee assignments like you are suggesting they might."I hate him passionately", he's "a demonic force" - Tucker Carlson, in private, on Donald Trump
