That is true. While you say you are all for helping the poor and needy, Christians like Seer actually DO help the poor and needy. What was the last thing you did to help the poor? Other than voting to give them other people's money?

Christians believe in using their own resource, rather than taking taxes and spending a tithe of that tax money helping others. The biggest share of those tax dollars seem to go building an expensive bureaucracy and lining politicians pockets.

I'm a nationalist and generally a trade protectionist, and have probably been most of my adult life. I believe we should put Americans and American workers first. Being a Teamster for ten years, that was the union's thinking back then too. That we should care for our poor and needy first. Why is that wrong?

That was between 30-40 years ago when I was a treasurer in the Teamsters. I grew up in a solidly Democrat home and town (Kennedy and FDR were saints). Except for Nixon I did not vote Republican until 1994, much to the horror of my father (I was in the Marine corps when I voted for Nixon, he gave us a pay raise).
