A video of what Jim Acosta faced trying to cover a Trump rally in Florida.

Is this you? Are the people posting here in support of Trump people that would act like this, or that would stay at a Trump rally while people are acting like this?

    Is this who you are?

I could care less what the political leanings of the web site are. It has the video. The video speaks for itself.

I am going to assume in most cases you will find this disturbing, abhorrent. I am going to assume that most of you would leave a situation like this and not participate at all.

    Unless you tell me otherwise.

But this is what Trump is encouraging, asking for, stirring up. Do you approve?

    Is this who you are?

    Boo-hoo.

I don't go to rallies. Their behavior was rude, but certainly not enough to make me leave if I did go.

Though your phrasing is -- *ahem* DEPLORABLY common -- the more correct construction would be, "I could NOT care less..."

Spare me your pansy crocodile tears and faux outrage. I hereby declare "whataboutism" to be a valid form of argumentation: Trump has not "encouraged" such behavior, whereas leftist scum like Mad Maxine have directly and overtly urged her cretinous followers to actively confront and harass people. There was obvious rudeness there at the rally, but nothing appearing remotely threatening; but Fox reporter Shannon Bream recently felt the mob outside SCOTUS to be so unruly that she felt threatened, and retreated indoors, rather than doing her planned outdoor shoot. Various Trump supporters and associates have been driven out of places of business.

A small handful of people playing it up for the camera. Big deal. I've seen worse behavior at football games. You're making a mountain out of s molehill.

I started to hit up Starlight for that on another thread, and when I slowed down and reread it, the boy had it CORRECT!

Idioms rarely are fully correct grammatically. Take it as a bone to the mundane.

Remember folks the left can have:

                  - someone attempt to assassinate sitting congressional members of the opposition party.
                  - someone kill cops.
                  - wear obscene hats at a public march
                  - a known anti-seminate organize these marches
                  - hired a confirmed racist to one of the most important newspapers (The New York Times) to be an editor
                  - riot and destroy their own cities and neighborhoods

And none of this, of course, is broad brushed to say everyone in the left is the same way. Oh noes though if some people at a Trump rally make an obscene jesture at the member if the vaulted media though. The horror!

The left pretty much started this type of behavior, not Trump. They did this to every one of his rallies. They shout down conservative speakers and start riots at colleges. They burn cars in the streets. They accost Trump officials in their private lives, harassing them at restaurants, and congresswomen like Waters encourage them and you get upset when people at a political rally get upset but are nonviolent during a political rally?

Get some perspective Jim, then come back and talk to us about bad behavior.

That said, I would not participate in such a demonstration.

This behavior will escalate if someone doesn't put a stop to it and someone will get hurt.

In fact, many of the types of actions you mention are the end result of the same sorts of irresponsible rhetoric that is inciting the crowd in that video to behave as they are.

The difference here is that the rhetoric and tacit approval of the behavior comes from no less than the President of the United States of America!

It's childish behavior to be sure and not something I would condone yet such behavior has gone on for years (reporters for Fox routinely face similar treatment though on a smaller scale) although generally not at the presidential level.

Laura Loomer, then a reporter for a far right Canadian website, was physically removed from a book signing at the behest of Hillary (it is debated whether it was by supporters in the crowd or people working for her) where she waited in line for 7 hours with a book to get signed but also asked some tough questions when it was her turn.

Not long before he ran for Senate Al Franken (who is saying he might run for the Senate again after resigning) ran up and body-slammed a man in the crowd at a Howard Dean rally who got in a shouting match with the former governor (who was on stage delivering a campaign speech). Franken, who was applauded by the crowd and the MSM, later said he did it in order to protect the right of people to speak freely.

And while not the same as a crowd heckling a reporter, Robert Creamer, a convicted felon[1] who is the husband of Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-Ill.) a member of House Democratic leadership being the Chief Deputy Whip, and runs a political consulting firm that worked closely with the DNC and the Hillary campaign[2], was recorded boasting of orchestrating political violence designed to disrupt Trump rallies. Or as CNN put it, the video showed "Creamer and other operatives purportedly discussing methods for inciting violence at rallies for the Republican nominee." Aaron Black, an associate with Democracy Partners (Creamer's firm) who described himself as the "deputy rapid response director for the DNC for all things Trump on the ground," bragged how they were able to get a Chicago rally for Trump cancelled: "So the Chicago protest, when they shut all that, that was us. It was more [Creamer] than me."

                        1. who served only 5 months in federal prison after pleading guilty to tax fraud and operating a check kiting scheme responsible for $2.3 million in bank fraud. Must be nice having a wife with major political connections.

                        2. thanks to Donna Brazile we now know that Hillary had taken over the DNC so they and her campaign were essentially one and the same.

The worse you can dig up the right doing is making obsecene remarks at a member of the press. Those on the left have killed and injured people. Why do you refuse to see that?

This business of saying 'the left does worse' is absurd. Pol Pot skinned Christians alive. Does that mean this sort of behavior is ok? Does that mean we shouldn't be concerned about what might happen if it continues to escalate? Does that mean it makes sense for POTUS to tacitly approve of it?
