Mueller's questions for Trump

The NYT is claiming to have a list of Mueller's questions for Trump.

Speculation: Presumably it was leaked to them by Trump's legal team. It also appears to be incomplete as it includes no financial questions.

Yeah the purpose of asking such questions to the person at the top is generally to get them to self-incriminate by contradicting what the FBI can already prove from other sources.

Some of those last questions are doozies too:
Apart from being eye-widening questions in and of themselves, it seems the presence of the name Paul Manafort in that first one has the media in a tiff because Manafort has not previously been reported as having direct dealings with Russia.

If the questions are legit, and I have my doubts, they were most likely leaked by someone inside Dirty Cop Mueller's organization. That gang of crooks has been coordinating leaks to the media from the beginning.

Seems unlikely. Mueller's team seemed to be known in DC as unusual due to its lack of leaks. Whereas the Trump White House and team have been leaking like a sieve from day one. My bet would be Trump's lawyers have leaked this partial question list to the media in order to use it to try and argue that Mueller is out of line and needs to be shut down.

Mueller's gang of crooks is one of the leakiest organizations in Washington DC! The whole "ram-rod straight, impeccable reputation" narrative is nothing but a bunch of BS.

Also consider, there's no reason for Trump's team to leak these questions, but there are tremendous benefits for Mueller. First of all, as this thread ably demonstrates, it starts clueless liberals breathlessly speculating about what Mueller "really knows" (even if he knows nothing) with the assumption that every answer to these questions is bad for Trump. Second, it's an obvious attempt to put pressure on Trump because the new narrative will be that he may as well answer because the questions are already out there, and if he declines, it's only because he has something to hide.

Mueller not only already knows the answers, but also has many follow up questions at hand. Of course Muellers already having the answers is what Trump would call a perjury trap.
