Your linked article says that University President was sick of the media attention and cancelled the university's process of reviewing the student's behavior. Any disciplinary committee decision on the (in)appropriateness of the student's behavior was thus never given.

        You did.
Gosh, only if a book out there existed that kept track of definitions and idioms people used to deal with stuff like this. Wait, there is such a book. What does it say about the definition of 101? You should really try harder next time, you made this too easy.

Well, this one says "from the numbering of introductory college coursework".

This one says "Denoting an introductory course at college or university in the subject specified."

And this one says "From the practice in US colleges of numbering courses, the initial (introductory) course normally being numbered '101'"

I wonder how many online dictionaries you tried before finding one that didn't include either the other meaning or the etymology.

Anything is better than simply admitting you made a reading error you attack me for making, eh? Are you man enough to admit you made a simple error?
              When I make one, yes.

You're the one who has problems admitting errors. There's another example in my sig.

Sounds more like the President knows he was wrong and is just trying to save face.

or another thread. Please both of you (Roy and LP) take your argument elsewhere. Nobody gives a crap about class terminology. Leave.

Is this an official request? (for the record)
The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.
