Not ad hominem, just insult and ignorance. Amused contempt is IMO more appropriate.

This is your reply to Tassman who wrote: "You claim that those demanding equal rights, e.g. LGBT's, are "confused" yet you, who believes in invisible entities, eternal life and virgin births etc is NOT confused."

Do you mean to claim that belief in invisible entities, eternal life and virgin births is "historically based". What does a "historically based" view on eternal life look like?

I believe that it is morally right that our society equip every person with the ability to live a good and happy life and that we don't put unwarranted barriers in the way of that, or go around making life difficult for minority groups. In my lifetime, the civil rights issue of the day has been LGBT rights. If I had lived during the slavery era, I would have been outspoken in my condemnations of slavery. If I'd lived when women were trying to get rights, I'd be outspoken in their support. If I'd lived during the Jim Crow or Apartheid eras I'd be outspoken against those. But from the time I first reached an age of political awareness through to the present day, the major civil rights issue at the forefront of our society's discussion has been LGBT rights: civil unions, same sex marriages, anti-discrimination laws, transgender rights. So that is the issue I've focused on.

I stand with the oppressed and condemn the oppressors. It's that simple.
Like I said, OBP is right.

It appears from this that you should drop your pretense of agnosticism and label yourself an atheist instead.

He and JimL both seem to be confused about what they don't believe.

You seem to be confused about my confusion, not to mention about reality.

So, which are you today, boy, an atheist or an agnostic?

So biology and health text books, in college, have more than male and female autonomy covered now? Do tell where at.

                            • So, getting back to the original subject of the topic, it looks like the decision by the disciplinary committee (or whoever was in charge of the decision) is that the student in question can return to class.

I'm not that familiar with US course numbering, but if it's anything like course numbering over here, {subject} 101 would be a university introductory course aimed at first-year students enrolled in a 3-year or 4-year degree programme. If so, the answer to the subsequent question is straightforward:
Who says I was talking about college level?
                                You did.
