I understand you're trying to be helpful, in some sense, but you're working off the wrong premises. I'm not a partisan.
My allegiance is to the truth, as best it can be discovered, and not just in pursuit of some abstract, virtuous, ethical ideal. During the years I spent as an orphan teenage runaway, to get food and shelter from strangers it was necessary to construct sympathetic lies, made believable by convincing myself they were true. The work it took to peel away those myths was difficult, and had far reaching consequences. In my personal life, it meant giving up things that were important to me, like my Christian faith, and the belief the Cubs would someday win the world series.
On this site, that includes pushing back at the right fringe.
This is hardly the first time I've seen oblique, or even direct, references to Hillary's hit squad on this site. Read generously, your "get me out of here" smiley could be an acknowledgment that it's not a serious suggestion. Jed's didn't include that caveat, or any other. Neither did the posts I've recently read on the Seth Rich conspiracy.
This is not a novel story line.
It's at least as old as Vince Foster's suicide, and it runs through the heart of the right fringe, unchecked, and quite publicly, every time one of her friends dies, most notably after the death of Chris Stevens.
This story line needs a full body check. Are you going to help me on this?
I'd like to think of you as one of the saner participants here, with perhaps the occasional flight into partisan fan fiction. On many occasions, especially when you were first posting here, I've seen you ask others to hold back to carefully consider context, most notably in your story of the paraplegic who refused to exit his vehicle.
Hillary doesn't have, and has never had, a hit squad. The details of how we can be sure of this are as accessible to you as they are to me. In broad terms, such a hit squad would have to be composed of assassins capable of committing murder without any details leaking out to the press years later, which points to the most professional of assassins, likely ex-special forces recruited from the CIA, working domestically for a party that's generally unpopular with rank-and-file members of the special forces, the CIA, the FBI, and local and state law enforcement.
Y'all could try to come off as something other than howling-at-the-moon, rabidly, and ferociously insane. Or, you could keep on suggesting Hillary had her own private hit squad.
If there's anything crazy in the above, it's that it has to be said.
Read it again. It's set up as a dichotomy. On the one hand, there are those who decide to continue suggesting that Hillary had her own private hit squad. On the other, there are those who try to avoid looking nuts, and hatefully so.
It's a clear call to choose the latter.
And if there's an accusation in there, it's self-inflicted by confession.
