It might not be her covering her behind for something that's coming. According to her the DNC had no choice but to do that because they were heavily in debt after Obama and Hillary paid that debt off in exchange for being allowed to launder donations through the DNC.

We knew that the DNC was rooting against Bernie, but we didn't know that Hillary was running the whole shebang. That makes this a little more anti-Hillary than merely anti-DNC.

I think at this point the Democrat party just wants to see Hillary go away because she has done nothing but hurt the Democrat brand for the past two-years (not that the brand was in particularly good shape before that); I suppose they think throwing Hillary under the bus will accomplish that.

We would never know any of this if Hellery had won and Donna Brazile had a cushy job in the new administration. I guess she didn't like being martyred so... actually I'm not even sure what Hitlery is trying to save, her reputation certainly won't recover no matter what she does.
