      Yup. Ever since The Crash.

ETA: Actually it's only the ones that I've spent a good deal of effort putting some research into. Since these things tend to get brought up over and over it just saves me the time from having to do it all over again.

I used to have this thing where I would work on a long post, only to find out I had been logged out or something else had happened, and it wouldn't save my post. I started composing posts in notepad, particularly if I had to gather up some other quotes, then copy/paste it into a post.

Some of my posts I'll simply copy (including the [quote=rogue...] part) and then email them to a gmail account. That way I have them saved if Tweb were to crash again, they get deleted (as happened quite often on another website I used to frequently post on) and even if my computer were to crash and I didn't have them backed up. Bitten once[1] and all that.

Right, so McCain, Corker, Flake, Dent, Sasse, Collins, GWB, now that they're all speaking out about the creep you knuckleheads chose to be our President, now they're all rino's.

Yeah, the ones I suspect I'll need again, I save to a folder in dropbox. I even found ones from back in the days when NRAJeff and OtherCheek were battling away in the Mormon forum.

Conservatives have long viewed McCain as being a RINO but always respected him because of his service for his country.

And Flake's big speech that the MSM are all swooning over was a joke. He originally ran as a staunch conservative Republican and had a 100% lifetime Club for Growth record in the House of Representatives but when he became a Senator he voted like a moderate liberal Democrat[1] so it is no surprise that polling showed he had at best a slim chance of winning in the primaries much less the general election[2]. Knowing his career was all but over he has decided to throw a fit and hope it distracted from the fact he was toast.

                  1. Republican strategist Jeff Jason compiled a list of some of the things that have alienated him from his constituency, some of which seem trivial and others not so much.

                  2. Depending on the poll his approval rate in Arizona is somewhere between 18 to 30%.

Why even put McCain and Collins on that list given that they've been called rinos by most conservatives for years, long before Trump was a political player at all? Oh right, I know why.

Yeah right, thats why he won the republican primaryin 2007, because he was perceived by republicans to be a rino.

No, his speech was no joke, he, just like all the other republican patriots who are beginning to speak up, was just trying to wake you people from your trance, and I'm sure you'll be hearing more of the same from him et. al. in the next 14 months. Yes he was toast in the upcoming election, he made no bones about that, and he wasn't about to join the wacko crowd led by the wannabe dictator Trump in order to continue on as a Senator. Truth is, many republican politicians agree with the patriotic whistleblowers here, they're just too scared and unprincipled themselves to say anything. Sad!

Ah, out of 17 candidates McCain came in second to GWB in the 2000 republican primary and then he went on to win the same in 2008. So you may have considered him a rino for a long time, though I doubt you actually did, but even so, republicans in general obviously disagreed with you. Collins is more of a moderate, yes, but she is still conservative, just not conservative enough for the wack jobs.

He pretty much backed into the nomination by being the last man standing. He never had the support of the conservative wing of the party which was one of his primary reasons for picking a very conservative running mate -- to shore up conservative support.

Flake knew he was toast as a result of abandoning his conservative principles and instead of taking responsibility for his own actions chose instead to lash out. Pretty much what we've come to expect from Washington politicians these days.

And yet all of them somehow managed to not speak one word of criticism about Obama during the eight-years of his disastrous presidency...

According to The Hill Flake only has a 25% favorability rating among Arizona Republicans (Independents give him a 20% favorability rating) and is trailing his primary opponent by 27 points (58 to 31). That is a political death sentence for any incumbent. So he is pretending to quit rather than face a humiliating defeat. He'll probably show up on either CNN or MSNBC as a supposed conservative commentator to provide "balance" to their half a dozen liberal guests.
