Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton called for a "formal deprogramming" for many supporters of former President Trump during a new CNN interview.

Discussing the recent upheaval on Capitol Hill, Clinton contrasted what she called the "sane" part of the GOP caucus who helped prevent a government shutdown with the "cult" wing devoted to Trump.

"That's the way it used to be," Clinton told CNN's Christiane Amanpour on Thursday. "I mean, we had very strong partisans in both parties in the past, and we had very bitter battles over all kinds of things… but there wasn't this little tail of extremism, waving, you know, wagging the dog of the Republican Party as it is today. And sadly, so many of those extremists, those MAGA extremists take their marching orders from Donald Trump, who has no credibility left by any measure. He's only in it for himself. He's now defending himself in civil actions and criminal actions. And when do they break with him?"

Clinton continued, "Because at some point, you know, maybe there needs to be a formal deprogramming of the cult members, but something needs to happen."

That remark appeared to amuse Amanpour, who could be seen gleefully reacting to Clinton.

Remember how the Bernie bros inside Sander's campaign waxed poetic over the beauty of gulags and the need for reeducating the people if the left were able to take control?

While literally talking about the need to reeducate conservatives in the same way Germany had to do with former Nazis after WWII, a Field Organizer for the Sanders Campaign, Kyle Jurek, made the following statements:

"Like we're probably going to have to do the same [f-bomb] thing here. That's kind of what all Bernie's whole [f-bomb] like "hey, free education!" for everybody, because we're going to have to teach you to not be a [f-bomb] Nazi."

"There's a reason Joseph Stalin had gulags, right? And actually, gulags were a lot better than what the CIA has told us that they were. Like, people were actually paid a living wage in gulags, they had conjugal visits in gulags. Gulags were actually meant for like re-education."

"Greatest way to break a [f-bomb] billionaire of their like, privilege and their idea that they're superior, go out and break rocks for 12 hours a day."

There are videos available of him making these statements and nobody would ever take his tone and expression as being anything less than deathly serious and certainly not joking. I'd link to them but as you can see from the excerpts that, like so many other self-proclaimed anarcho-communists, he can barely manage a single sentence without lacing it with f-bombs and other vulgarities.

And he wasn't the only paid staffer on the Sanders campaign staff who talked about "send[ing] all the Republicans to the reeducation camps" and gulags.

As for Jurek et al and their love for gulags, perhaps the idiots should read Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn's The Gulag Archipelago concerning the Nobel Prize winning author's own experiences being locked up in the forced work camps. A book that made it impossible for Marxists in the West, along with their sympathizers, to dismiss the Soviet concentration camp system as nothing more than a "Stalinist aberration"

Poor baby. Turnabout is NOT fair play for you is it? There are analogues on every corner of your 'complaint'. And while I think 'deprogrammed' is about as off the rails as the use of TDS by congressmen and news personalities to describe those whose legitimate concerns became reality jan 6, it is simply yet another symptom of the cult like spell Trump holds over you that you can't quite see that what you worry about the democrats doing, you and the GOP do and have already DONE over the last 6 years. There's not much imagination leeway when using the word "deprogramming" of political dissidents. Since she also used the word "cult," we all know what "cult deprogramming" entails. How are you going to "deprogram" 70 million people? There isn't much grasping at straws when imagining that scenario and what she meant.
