The crowd was violently trying to break into the chambers. And they eventually did. And I am using "violently" in the same way as in the Jan 6 riots. Ironically.

Was he as ignorant as you on the subject?
And citing an instance of gross police incompetence and wrong-doing that if it took place at a BLM/antifa riot a bit earlier (one of those that Harris said they will not and should not stop doing) the cop would be sitting in an isolation cell awaiting trial, probably doesn't help your case.

Wow, your ignorance is off the charts.
I guess that's what comes of willful ignorance of refusing to watch the Jan 6 committee investigations: You didn't see the numerous videos everyone else saw of violence in the building, and the insurrectionists breaking down doors and windows.
As a result, because of your complete willful ignorance you're now making an utter fool of yourself here. Well, that's on you. Your ignorance is your own foolish doing, and now we can laugh at you for it.
Various reports of the damage done range from 1 to 3 million dollars worth, primarily in broken glass, broken doors, and graffiti. They did not all walk carefully down the carpet between the ropes like serial liar Tucker Carlson showed on his propaganda show."I hate him passionately", he's "a demonic force" - Tucker Carlson, in private, on Donald Trump

Do I have to roll on the floor laughing at you as well for being as ignorant as Rogue about what actually happened on Jan 6? Do yourself a favor and go watch some of the Jan 6 committee hearings on youtube - many of the early hearings were predominantly video clips of incidents from the day, which will give you an idea of what actually occurred so you don't keep making such ignorant statements."I hate him passionately", he's "a demonic force" - Tucker Carlson, in private, on Donald Trump

And "mild crowded pushing"If you want to be taken seriously, at least try to be honest in your characterizations.

And what you describe sounds like it was mostly exterior -- again not inside the Capitol building.
Btw, I was going on what another poster (kccd?) provided when she listed the damages done inside which included defacing some statues (usually a leftist activity) and tearing down some banners or something like that, as well as some outright theft (things like stolen laptops IIRC).
Everyone knows that there was rioting outside, including violent clashes with police. But then, again, that wasn't what was going on with those inside (if you exclude the trigger happy cop who shot and killed Ashli Babbitt).
an amusing very short video
Perhaps you are confusing the two or don't understand the difference given how you keep writing about what took place outside.
Btw, Macdonald, who was the one who snarked about the "violent terrorists" respecting the velvety ropes, died in September 2021. Now maybe time moves different in new Zealand, but that was long before Tucker Carlson showed any clips from January 6th.

Jan 6 was violent, destructive, people were killed, beaten. The capitol was soiled and trampled, our legislators had to be shuttled to a safe space and protected from the violence of the crowd. There is no comparison to be made. Except by those averse to truth. My brethren, do not hold your faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ with an attitude of personal favoritism. James 2:1

Wrong. The event in tennessee was not any sort of 'riot'. Just a basic protest over being shutdown by republicans refusing to even hear their opinions and arguments. Their voice was being silenced, and so they made them listen. The were loud. They made some noise. That's it.

Rogue,
If you're going to actively bask in your own ignorance and refuse to actually watch any video of what happened on January 6th, maybe stop making an utter fool of yourself with continued false claims about what happened there?
There was plenty of damage inside the building. It wasn't just on the outside. How do I know? Because I saw videos of it happening. Because, unlike you I didn't marinate in foolishness and self-inflicted ignorance by refusing to watch videos of such a major event."I hate him passionately", he's "a demonic force" - Tucker Carlson, in private, on Donald Trump
