Trump was definitely the "change" candidate whereas Hillary was all for maintaining the status quo.

Yeah, yesterday was MLK day in the US
Cool, did you reflect on his comments such as:
Which I think speaks a lot to you and your views on Black Lives Matter.

And likewise him speaking to the questions of violence that this thread addresses:

And a few other choice quotes that speak to his general views on economic and political issues:

It's worth remembering that the man was as active in support of the poor and against US militarism as he was on the human rights of blacks. He advocated for a universal basic income, for a huge transfer of wealth to the poor, thoroughly critiqued capitalism, endorsed socialist views, and was killed while supporting a union whose members were on strike. He also was extremely critical of the US' military industrial complex and argued that the US tendency towards militarism was deeply morally wrong.
"I hate him passionately", he's "a demonic force" - Tucker Carlson, in private, on Donald Trump
"Every line of serious work that I have written since 1936 has been written, directly or indirectly, against totalitarianism and for democratic socialism" - George Orwell
"[Capitalism] as it exists today is, in my opinion, the real source of evils. I am convinced there is only one way to eliminate these grave evils, namely through the establishment of a socialist economy" - Albert Einstein

Yes, and none of that takes away from the fact that he advocated non-violence.

            That's some first-rate picking-and-choosing you've got going there.

I feel kind of embarrassed for you that you would try to misuse him in this way to condemn those who continue to fight for the same things he fought for.

You'd be better at being embarrassed for missing the point -- he was far more effective in his 'non-violence' approach than those who loot and riot and obstruct traffic and cause general mayhem.

Gosh how dare they obstruct traffic. It's as if they believe their lives and their human rights are more important than the flow of traffic. How dare they make a scene or get in the way.

I think if MLK Jr were to look at this image of a BLM protester, he would be incredibly proud:

Sure, if, in fact, that's a BLM protester -- I know for sure this was....

Googling the phrase I see only one hit - a Trump supporters' facebook page - hence I believe your example is fictional.

I was particularly amused by the White Supremacist getting punched in the face during his interview, and by the gay dance parties designed to block the entrances.
