I am simply pointing out that the universal [I refrained from using the word catholic in case you suddenly came over faint] Christian church to which presumably the SBC belongs has a long history of sexual abuse and covering up such scandals.

Except that, as soon as the membership of the SBC discovered there was a problem, we owned it and acted to deal with it. You referred specifically to the SBC, and we have obviously handled this differently than the Catholic Church, or any other denomination.
