That's not true. If someone has tremors and uses a deep brain stimulation implant, they aren't cured. They still have tremors. They just have treatment. That's no different than hormone replacement therapy or sexual reassignment surgery.

Btc's link is not conclusive of anything. That the majority of brains are a mosaic of male and female brains only tells us that the majority of brains are not the same and leaves the door open to ones brain not corresponding to ones physical gender.

Treatment isn't the same as a cure. Just as a DBS implant treats tremors, HRT and SRS treats gender dysphoria. They are analogous in that they both reduce suffering.
