The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

Angsting is a verb I would say needs to be made mainstream.
I still don't get it. Why put all this praise on revolution? Revolution is in my opinion much like pain. It isn't good or bad in and of itself but It can lead to and create either a great good, an evil that shocks obe to repentance, or a cold calloused unrepentance.sigpic

We remember fondly our visits with him in Cuba and his love of his country. We wish the Cuban citizens peace and prosperity in the years ahead."
From Jesse Jackson:
"In many ways, after 1959, the oppressed the world over joined Castro's cause of fighting for freedom & liberation-he changed the world. RIP"
Secretary of State John Kerry:
"We extend our condolences to the Cuban people today as they mourn the passing of Fidel Castro. Over more than half a century, he played an outsized role in their lives, and he influenced the direction of regional, even global affairs."
Nancy Pelosi, former Speaker of the House of Representatives and current Minority Leader:
"Fidel Castro's death marks the end of an era. We will continue to press for the dreams of the Cuban people."
And while not American, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau takes the cake:
And the gushing in the media was perhaps even worse with ABC's current Senior Law and Justice Correspondent, Jim Avila proclaiming, on an ABC Special Report during Nightline, that Castro "was considered, even to this day, the George Washington of his country among those who remain in Cuba."
Over at MSNBC, Andrea Mitchell swooned how, in her opinion, Castro "will be revered." And Chris Matthews, also of MSNBC, proclaimed that Castro was "a romantic figure when he came into power" and how liberals "rooted like mad for the guy" who "was almost like a folk hero to most of us."

You're aware that it's customary to say only nice things about a person immediately after they die right? Liberals struggled recently with Scalia for the same reason."I hate him passionately", he's "a demonic force" - Tucker Carlson, in private, on Donald Trump
