You mean like running a rigged primary where Hillary was pre-determined by the party bosses to win no matter who the voters selected?
Or maybe what the Democrats did in 2000 when it challenged overseas military absentee ballots (nearly all voting for Bush) all across Florida and succeeded in getting 1000 disallowed, primarily for lacking a postmark, in violation of both federal and state law.
They arbitrarily changed vote-counting criteria after the election in order to suppress the vote. The problem was so bad that according to an Associated Press report at the time "Orange County, for example, rejected 117 of its 147 overseas ballots. In Hillsborough County, 74 of the 135 ballots were rejected after Democrats raised concerns about postmark or signature problems."
What they were doing was so blatant it caused some Democrats to recoil and even Gore's VP pick, Senator Joseph Lieberman, felt it necessary to step forward and demand that election officials should give the ''benefit of the doubt'' to military voters.
And speaking of Florida, the MSM (now a branch of the Democratic Party in all but name only), called Gore the winner there causing many voters in the panhandle, where the polls were still open and a Republican stronghold, to turn around and go home without voting.
Moreover, nine years later, a Senate Rules Committee study revealed that roughly a quarter of overseas military voters (who vote overwhelmingly Republican) who requested absentee ballots did not have their votes counted in the 2008 election because they never received their ballots causing Congress to approve the Military and Overseas Voting Empowerment (MOVE) Act requiring that states send absentee ballots to overseas military personnel at least 45 days before the election so that time in transit will no longer be an issue.
Then in 2010 it was disclosed that the Obama Justice Department was urging states to use waivers in order to avoid having to abide by provisions of the MOVE Act and continue suppressing the military vote.
With that in mind the Obama campaign sued Ohio in 2012 over a provision which gave members of the military three extra days for early voting but claiming they weren't trying, once again, to suppress the military vote. Riiiight
Democrats like to scream and shout about alleged voter suppression while practicing it in earnest.Last edited by rogue06; 11-05-2016, 08:44 PM.

So in the outer limits of the Twilight Zone where JimL flits about throwing out legitimate votes from a group doesn't count as voter suppression. The Democrats have been systematically trying to suppress the vote from people in the military for going on two decades now.
As for whining about polls being closed in Democratic controlled areas, the only ones to blame are the Democrat officials in charge
Originally posted by rogue06 View PostIf those "early voting locations in mostly democratic districts" were closed you need to look no further than the Democrat officials in charge of running them. Republicans in locations like that have little or no power and can do little more than oversee the process to make sure blatant cheating isn't taking place.
I guess these Democrat officials are part of Hillary's mythical "vast right wing conspiracy"
The media's calling the election in Florida for Gore while the polls were still open in the panhandle (what with its numerous military bases is a Republican stronghold) is not some "Breitbart says so" made-up story. Nobody denies it and it is easy enough to Google for yourself. There were still hundreds of people standing in line many of which simply left when the media called Florida for Gore. After all, why bother at that point. And in a race decided by a couple hundred votes that could have been crucial.
And it wasn't "a secret democrat plot to suppress the military vote" because they were quite blatantly open about what they were doing. That everyone knew what was going on is why a number of Democrats including Gore's VP pick spoke out against it. And yes, there is a smoking gun for the shenanigans that the Democrats were doing. A Democratic operative and Gore activist Tallahassee lawyer Mark Herron distributed a five-page memo for the Gore organization to Democratic organizations all across Florida, proving instructions on the ways that overseas military absentee ballots could be challenged and thrown out.
As the New York Times relates:
Actually the Times got it wrong about the ballots violating the law. The principle objection they cited, that the ballots weren't postmarked, is not a legitimate one for as Florida Administrative Code Title 1S-2.01(7) states
With respect to the presidential preference primary and the general election, any absentee ballot cast for a federal office by an overseas elector which is postmarked or signed and dated no later than the date of the Federal election shall be counted if received no later than 10 days from the date of the Federal election as long as such absentee ballot is otherwise proper.
[*Emphasis added by rogue06*]
Finally, as for your question "I don't even know what that is supposed to mean. Do you?" it is pretty obvious for anyone with at least half a brain (which I guess eliminates you). Obama's Department of Justice was coaching states on how to circumvent the Military and Overseas Voting Empowerment (MOVE) Act.Last edited by rogue06; 11-06-2016, 10:06 PM.
