I'm still not even sure what the "alt right" is.

It is a sticky one really- the old saying that the biggest argument against democracy is talking to the average voter is depressing. People do vote based on the most absurd reasons, and as far as I can tell democracy is just one of the least bad options we've currently come up with.

More or less. My lament is as old as the res publica, though. It's not like the Romans were paragons of voting virtue.

And FF's quote in post #35 is from a raving lunatic. But it doesn't stop his guilt-by-association stupidity, so I threw one of my own out there to show the utter stupidity of FF's tactic in this thread.

It is an invention of the liberals to attempt to legitimize or excuse their lunacy.

Historically the KKK was an arm of the Democratic Party.

How do you know that meh gerbil is not black?

Well apparently the Black Panthers also support Trump so I guess that cancels out the KKK, right?

More high-school girly tactics? 'Get with the 'popular' crowd or JimL and his progressive clique won't talk to you'? I never cared about that back then, and I still don't now. This is your reason why I should support Clinton? Fear or being grouped with the 'unpopular people'? Guess that means she's got no worthwhile positive qualities or accomplishments that should attract my support. Who would have guessed?

I guess you people just think that black people in general are just stupid.
No, I just think you are stupid, and incredibly morally corrupt. You're on the side of the bullies, JimL. Think about that. You're trying to emotionally manipulate and bully people into supporting Clinton. That's downright disgusting. I used to think that some posters here were a bit too hard on you, JimL. I'm wondering if I was wrong about that.

Duh! No they don't support Trump. Quanel X: "There is no way I'd vote for Trump, when at his heart, he cares nothing for black people. He has affiliations with white supremacy groups. How the hell could I support that man!"

This seems less an endorsement of Donald Trump and more an attack on the Democrats.

I appreciate that and agree with you. But BtC's idea was that once you've been convicted, you should lose your rights, and should never be aloud to vote again. The above response doesn't seem to answer to that.
