Christianity, like any other religion/philosophy/morality, can only be behind atrocities if the people who committed those acts were following its precepts and would have acted differently if following a different behavioural framework.

A good deal of the traffic from the continent comes into UK via Calais and the truck drivers are being subjected to violence from migrants wanting to cross in their vehicles so I think the wall ( I think they had fences before but people just tear them down or climb over them) is to protect them.
