It's definitely closer than the pollsters have been letting on. But it's ultimately going to come down to voter turnout, one way or another.

This is true. The main reason that Brexit happened was not because people were showing displeasure at an establishment that failed them (though it has and it certainly was a factor) but because too many 'remainers' considered victory a dead cert and therefore didn't bother to vote.

The same may happen with democrat supporters. Though the lacklustre at best abilities of their candidate will also be a factor. Even those who are supporting her seem reluctant.

The fact that the race is even close, considering the republican candidate says nothing in Hilary's favour.

If you look at the polling over time, not much has changed since the majority of the voters appear to be more decided in their choices at this point than in previous presidential elections.

Chipping away does appear to be no more than a few chips on the floor.

        Focus group studies undecided voters

A Wisconsin focus group studies why undecided voters are doubtful in this year's presidential election. Political analyst Elise Jordan and former Vermont Governor Howard Dean discuss the group's findings.

I'm really trying to find something in this post with which I disagree.

Can I get back to you on that?
The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.
