Not according to the law. You've never been very good with that "law stuff".

The anti gay hatred is over the top in this thread. Get a grip people.
There is no anti gay hatred, drama queen.

The guy was a leader in passing civil rights legislation to protect gay people, and he's being honoured for that as part of a series of civil rights activists who are being honoured. Nothing exciting to see here really.
Then get your drama queen butt out of here!

Do you know Mckinley birth date CP? Did you know that according to the law that you are innocent until proven guilty?

No sir. But there's not any dispute that he was not of majority. (or, were you wanting to send him a present?)

Yes, sir - but apparently you don't think that counts in the case of Cliven Bundy's neighbors, or Officer Wilson, or George Zimmerman. Odd, that!

That's an axiomatic possibility, I presume.

Um... why are you bringing up a thread from 2 years ago and linking me to a piece I don't understand about someone I've never heard of? Why are you labeling someone I've never heard of as my hero? And what on earth does your phrase "hero of the faithless" mean? Are you drunk or something?

Well I certainly don't remember discussing Jim Jones on this forum before. Wiki tells me he did the Kool-Aid suicide cult thing... I've heard of the phrase "drinking the Kool-Aid" and knew it came from a suicide cult... but if I've ever known anything about or discussed Jim Jones beyond that I don't recall it. I have no clue why you think he's my hero.

Your denial would be more plausible if you didn't hyperventilate while giving it. The "hero" in this context would ostensibly be Mr. Milk, who you seemed to know fairly well in post 43.

No, not Jones, Hay and Milk - did you not read your post to which I had responded? But it appears you were defending Hay more than Milk.

Which is why I supposed he may have had an onset of amnesia somewhere since.

The linked post is about Jim Jones and it didn't really make much sense to me because I lack the historical knowledge about Jim Jones and lack any interest in the topic, so I hadn't planned to participate in that thread.

Milk is not my hero either, and prior to this thread I'd never heard of him, and I'd forgotten his name in the two years subsequent to this thread - the 1-sentence summary of why he is famous that I posted in post 43 a couple of years ago was probably a product of reading this thread at the time and browsing internet sources on the subject. Your post about Jim Jones has a sentence or two to the effect that Milk approved of Jones at some point in his life. That doesn't strike me as particularly interesting because people change and their reasons for approval change... presumably Milk no longer approved after the guy did the Kool Aid massacre. I don't really understand what point your thread about Jones is trying to make... is it some sort of guilt by association attempt with the Democratic party? That seems dumb and was one of the reasons I wasn't planning to participate in that thread.

Again, I don't really understand your guys obsession with these people, but whatever. But can you avoid making yourselves look loony by making absurd declarations about who my "heroes" are, and especially avoid declaring my heroes to be people I don't know?
