Which was expected, even by the organization largely responsible for getting it this far. They consider a major win to even have it discussed.

Johnson is not completely open borders. But I am. And I would argue that if our platform were taken consistently the LP is. Others differ with my take on that. I nominated and voted for Darryl W. Perry, not Johnson, at convention.

I know this may sound crazy, but I might be a tad bit more familiar with what the term "open borders" means in my own Party and what my own candidate has says. I know... crazy talk. He is not completely open borders, but he is certainly acceptably so. Johnson is a moderate Libertarian. He believes in more government control over entry than our Platform calls for. Now, does he sometimes say different things. I know this is shocking, but politicians often do that, and to figure out their positions, you sometimes have to listen to them over time.

But if he has radicalized on borders, I would be very pleased to hear that.

And oh so I am daft eh? Ahhh the name calling. What I miss most about Internet forums. Which by miss, I mean, don't miss at all.

Yes I am completely open borders. But then again I am an anarcho-Libertarian which I believe is the most consistent expression of Libertarian thought. The only borders that are meaningful are those around justly acquired private property, and I should be free to open or close them as I see fit provided I am not committing aggression against other people or violating their negative rights.
