NOAA Scientists - Strange Line of Holes 1.7 Miles Below the Atlantic Ocean Surface

There is nothing intrinsically or inherently kewl about it so not roguetech

It resembles ancient button holes in the ocean floor. What would it possibly reveal if unbuttoned?

That blue ruler is 28" deep into the crack.

Interestingly enough, after we got a half inch of rain, some of these cracks have slightly closed up, very much resembling the pattern being discussed.
