Well, candidacy won't be as bad as I'd thought - the next retreat is in January so I don't have to wait another year.

Rachel died yesterday and I did manage to bury her. She was a sweet dog and I miss her.

Got a lot done over the week end - and I'm about worn out!

I'm seriously thinking about getting a second job now...

Performance review tomorrow... Ugh...

I need a second job. There's a position available at my church and they've had trouble finding someone. I dunno - I've no professional experience in that field but it seems mostly organizing and getting everyone on the same page - that I can do. I can't decide - go for it or not?

Well, that's not true - I had decided to go for it then I got tired and wishy washy....

I'm tired. I'm not quitting. I'm not giving up. And I still praise God for everything. I'm just tired, is all. I want things to improve, preferably now, and I ... I don't even know.

God is awesome - no matter what happens.

Yes, definitely go for it. Can't hurt to try, can it? Is your present job and performance review at your church? Or do you just volunteer there? If that is your current job, the performance review might not be the time to discuss an additional job or a different job. That could be taken the wrong way.

My present job is with the state, not my church. I can't legally take a second job with the state so that's a non-issue. Thanks, though.

Yup - and get some outside perspectives on it -- most honest people sell themselves short in a resume.

Your church shouldn't need a resume to hire you, IMO. They should know you well enough to make that decision already.

Can't eat much and can't absorb iron - not sure how to make diet work any better right now.

I will talk to the doctor about it when I go again.

I just read the review for my area - only two of my cases were mentioned and neither was my fault! A bunch of others were mentioned so it ain't all me!!!

That and I can danged sure do a VCA!!!! (insider thingie - hard to explain. Basically, it's an essential skill for my job).

Water aerobics is growing but slowly - I need money now and this ain't working. I'm hoping I can keep it up even with a second job - I hate to disappoint the few loyal customers I have.

I probably shouldn't have gone to the SCA event but I'm glad I did - I need time with friends like anyone else and I got to sleep two nights in a really comfy bed!

Only two people showed up for water aerobics today - both having already paid. They left early because of the weather so I got to go earlier than expected to pick blueberries. Of course, that also means I'm figuring out just exactly what to spend my last $8 on - gas or food? Praise God, I have plenty of cat/dog food for now - that stuff ain't cheap.

Still need to pick up my scarf pics - I know IC thinks I've completely lost my mind but I just didn't have the cash for it. I will Wednesday - anyone wanna buy a scarf?

Whether it's the job with the church or another, I'm getting a second job - or at least really trying. Prayer appreciated.

So, I think I'm okay for the next couple weeks - but I might not be. I have to pull apart my statement tomorrow to be sure but I think it's okay. If not, God is still God so the big stuff will be okay even if it's not okay. That makes sense to me - probably not phrased well enough to make sense to anyone else, however.

The performance appraisal was postponed - I get to do it tomorrow. Oh joy... I had calmed down - now I'm all nervous again.

No, I still haven't applied for that job - I need to talk to someone about what they are looking for but I can't decide who... I will either tomorrow or Friday.
