General Theistics 101 Guidelines
This area is open for nontheists and theists to interact on issues of theism and faith in a civilized manner. We ask that nontheist participation respect the theistic views of others and not seek to undermine theism in general, or advocate for nontheism. Such posts are more suited for and allowable in Apologetics 301 with very little restriction.

Oh my word, are you on something lilpix? I said that you changed the wording in post #149 from that which you previously said in post #128 in order to make it look as though you never said that at all. I'd suggest that maybe you should get some sleep.Last edited by JimL; 10-01-2017, 08:33 PM.

No one knows where Hefner is now so to assert he is either place is a judgement we are not capable of making."Obama is not a brown-skinned, anti-war socialist who gives away free healthcare. You are thinking of Jesus." Episcopal Bishop of Arizona

One of the confusing things about this conversation is that several different words are all translated as "hell" in English translations of the New Testament. "hades" is used in Revelation 20:13 where the KJV says "death and hell gave up the dead who were in them" but this clearly isn't the same concept as other usages of "hell" in the NT that have a post-Final Judgment time frame in mind. "gehenna" and "tartarus" are also translated as hell elsewhere. Assuming no deathbed conversion, Hefner would seem likely to be in "hell" based on that translation of Revelation 20:13 but probably not in the same manner that most people are thinking."I am not angered that the Moral Majority boys campaign against abortion. I am angry when the same men who say, "Save OUR children" bellow "Build more and bigger bombers." That's right! Blast the children in other nations into eternity, or limbless misery as they lay crippled from "OUR" bombers! This does not jell." - Leonard Ravenhill

There is no such thing as innocence, only degrees of guilt.
