Apologetics 301 Guidelines

If you think this is the area where you tell everyone you are sorry for eating their lunch out of the fridge, it probably isn't the place for you

This forum is open discussion between atheists and all theists to defend and debate their views on religion or non-religion. Please respect that this is a Christian-owned forum and refrain from gratuitous blasphemy. VERY wide leeway is given in range of expression and allowable behavior as compared to other areas of the forum, and moderation is not overly involved unless necessary. Please keep this in mind. Atheists who wish to interact with theists in a way that does not seek to undermine theistic faith may participate in the World Religions Department. Non-debate question and answers and mild and less confrontational discussions can take place in General Theistics.

Jews consider the Torah and Tanakh sufficient and no additional books are necessary.

He would know Jesus, but not the Christina Biblical Jesus.

How does that prove Muhammad actually knew Allah?
. . . the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; . . . -- Romans 1:16 KJV

. . . that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: . . . -- 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 KJV

So the temple was never really important?

                  Irrelevant to my point.
Now for starters, prove Muhammad actually knew Allah.
I can't prove it, niether can believers in Allah prove it, and neither can you prove that the god you talk to is any more real than Allah, or just an imaginary friend.

It does not, because there is no proof that Abraham, Moses, Jesus nor Muhammad kew God.

Ask the Jews. Yes, the temple was likely important, but that has no relationship to the claims of Jesus Christ to the Jews.

He would probably revere Jesus as a prophet but he would not "know" Jesus the god/man in the sense he is referring to when he claims to "know God".

In the same way that ALL personal testimony "proves" knowledge of god...i.e. it doesn't. There's no "proof" that ANYONE "knows", or has ever known, god.

Knowing about and believe in God is not the same thing as knowing God Himself. Which according to a citation attributed to Jesus can only be through Him. Which it would seem by your answer, you do not comprehend.

Why should I believe the attribution? All you're telling me is that some person said that Jesus said it. Why should I believe that that person knew what he was talking about?
