No. The Bible isn't an encyclopedia. It's not a comprehensive, self-sufficient and self-interpreting guide to Christian life. It was never intended to be.
      Don't call it a comeback. It's a riposte.

      • Ok since you you do not have biblical support for praying to Mary then answer this:

Can you name one place in Scripture where prayer is taken place to anyone and/or anything else but to God where it is not worship? (See Post #212)

I don't recall either confirming or denying this.

          Again, why should I?

          • Ok, you don't have to answer the question.

            Thanks anyway.

You defined the terms of the debate and the standards of evidence in such a way that you could only win, but failed to consider that other people don't operate on the same exact set of epistemological assumptions. Try understanding why people believe what they do and engaging them there instead of demanding without reason or explanation that they adopt your standards for belief.

Revelations 5:8. Sorry, you're done foudy, that clearly depicts the Saints interceding on our behalf.
Better to illuminate than merely to shine, to deliver to others contemplated truths than merely to contemplate.

You just couldn't answer the question because your heresy would be exposed.

Nope. It doesn't teach the saints are being prayed "to".

I know you hope that it would but a false hope is not a hope one should cling to - especially as bad as this one.

Why would answering the question make me a heretic?
