Lobby Guidelines

You've made it through the revolving doors and now you can mingle and mill about. If you feel like spamming, please head down the hall to the right to the RecRoom. But, if you'd like to meet people, chat about nothing in particular, you know...have polite conversation that doesn't seem to fit easily into any of the other rooms, this is the place!

The Lobby is not for serious debates, there are other areas for those types of conversations. It is more for relaxed chatting or discussing things that don't fit elsewhere. Politics, religion and philosophy have their own place on the site

Good job, Seer. Keep up the good work!
I'm really beginning to like it a LOT here. This made me fall off my chair laughing. I love the sense of humor here! I'll need it because my summer's almost over and school starts soon. I teach K-5 art and at 63 I cannot keep up with the energy. I see 550 students every 4 days.

Can't you just chain them to the desks or something?

God actually designed me for this sort of work. I taught kindergarten for 8 years. Now it's K-5 and I'm the only specialist that has no fear of the yellow puddle.

Yup, what goes around comes around. I'm still "paying back".

My parents ran a kindergarten of their own for five years. Momma was forty five and Daddy was sixty three when they started it.

That is amazing. It's quite an experience working with 25+ 5 year olds (I had 29 kids show up on my first day of work). I had a sign outside my room similar to this one:

                          Don't call it a comeback. It's a riposte.

Maybe that's why they stopped after five years...
