Every month, when mom would go grocery shopping, I run over to the magazine rack and gently fold (so as not to crease) the back cover to see what it made. Then I'd search out the Spy v. Spy comics.

I'm always still in trouble again

"You're by far the worst poster on TWeb" and "TWeb's biggest liar" --starlight (the guy who says Stalin was a right-winger)
"Overall I would rate the withdrawal from Afghanistan as by far the best thing Biden's done" --Starlight
"Of course, human life begins at fertilization that’s not the argument." --Tassman

Don't I wish I had every one I had purchased, and/or otherwise acquired.

While on vacation one year back in the 60s/70s I found an old stash of MAD magazines from the early 60s tucked away in the basement of my aunt's house. It was like hitting the mother lode.

They were my oldest cousin's who was away serving in the National Guard.

I also had some baseball cards going back into the 50s that my mother threw out when we moved to Georgia.

I remember MAD TV from the 90s but not beyond that.

I used to LOVE MAD magazine.
                    That's what
                    - She

Without a clear-cut definition of sin, morality becomes a mere argument over the best way to train animals
                    - Manya the Holy Szin (The Quintara Marathon)

I may not be as old as dirt, but me and dirt are starting to have an awful lot in common
                    - Stephen R. Donaldson

Hmm, I was thinking of another SNL-like show from that period, but I still remember MAD TV.

No. And it wasn't In Living Color or Kids in the Hall either. I remember that there were a LOT of drug references and it was pretty obvious that many if not most of those on the show were stoned. And no I don't mean SNL.
