Lobby Guidelines

You've made it through the revolving doors and now you can mingle and mill about. If you feel like spamming, please head down the hall to the right to the RecRoom. But, if you'd like to meet people, chat about nothing in particular, you know...have polite conversation that doesn't seem to fit easily into any of the other rooms, this is the place!

The Lobby is not for serious debates, there are other areas for those types of conversations. It is more for relaxed chatting or discussing things that don't fit elsewhere. Politics, religion and philosophy have their own place on the site

    Moving

    I have a friend who lives in Northern California and he is thinking about moving to Southern California in order to spend more time with one of his friends who lives in Southern California. Some of his other friends think that spending more time with a friend is not a good enough reason to move to Southern California. They think that he could just drive there once in a while to visit his friend. Is "spending more time with a friend" a good enough reason to move to Southern California? I think it is. What do you think?

        I think it is a personal decision and you aren't the person to make it for him and neither are we.

        Why are you asking us for opinions on something that we don't know anything about, and is none of our business? Are you just trying to start some sort of political argument about Southern California?

              It just seems odd to ask total strangers about something personal and about people we don't know. We can't give a good answer. Sorry.
