Alberta used to be the wealthiest province in the country, with a lot of manufacturing and industry, and a low tax rate for both citizens and corporations. We didn't often have a balanced budget, but NEVER had a debt of billions of dollars. We GAVE (forced to by the feds) money to the other provinces, who still expect that money, but we have none to give, although I expect we still are, somehow.
There is an election to be held here by the end of May. It hasn't been called yet, but I am praying that the idiots who elected the NDP are hurting as much as the rest of us and will not re-elect these jokers. Socialism masquerading as "all for the good of the province"........
