Yup. He thinks he's running for Congress. At a campaign stop in Pittsburg he told voters: "Send me to Congress so that can support
this right. I promise you, we take back Congress, we will restore Roe v. Wade as the law of the land." He wants to be sent back to
Congress so he can fight to restore Roe v. Wade. Gotta wonder who he thinks the president is that will sign the bill into law

The FDNY tried to downplay it by declaring that "Nobody is hunting anyone down" right after releasing a memo where they explicitly stated they will "hunt them down"

This resulted in public outrage forcing them to back off. How they were planning on disciplining them was never stated. Sent to reeducation classes? Demotions? Don't know.

I figured it would be something like lay offs or even firing. Like here, a person cannot have an opinion, or a thought, as laid out in the new censorship bill in Canada, that doesn’t go along with that required by government, media, and special interest groups. Shameful.

If they did try to discipline or fire anyone the city would be sued to death. They placed the firefighters there and expected them to applaud and cheer. They can't then complain if instead they booed and jeered. They were there to give a reaction to the speaker. They did. It just wasn't the reaction they wanted.
