Which goes back to my past statements about how BOTH parties are taking us to hell in a handbasket. The Republicans seem content to take the scenic route whereas the Democrats are determined to use the express elevator. In the end, they're taking us to the same place.

That appearance is just as artificial as their opposition to the Democratic party.
