We do have an abundance of them.

When my cousin from North Dakota came to visit he could not believe how many trees are in the metro Atlanta area there are. Where he grew up there was roughly one tree for every four or five houses. Where my parent's lived we had about 120 (with 100 being pines) on a little over a quarter acre.

I lived in Augusta when I was a kid. I remember red clay and pine trees. And LOTS of humidity.
